As I mention in the post, I&#8217;m working on a novel set during a catastrophic wildfire, and there&#8217;s one going on right now west of where I&#8217;m living in Southern Colorado, the West Fork Fire, which is near the town of Creede, a great little town where I lived the summer of 1999.
